Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp has rolled out a new feature enabling users to simultaneously log in with 2 WhatsApp accounts on a single Android device, offering added convenience for those who frequently switch between accounts, as announced by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

This update allows users to seamlessly manage two accounts without the need for repetitive logins, which proves especially beneficial for individuals managing both work and personal accounts. Enabling this feature is a simple process. Users require either a second phone number and SIM card or a device compatible with multi-SIM or eSIM technology. To set up the second account, users can follow these steps:

1. Open WhatsApp and tap on the three dots located in the top right corner.
2. Select ‘Settings’ and navigate to ‘Account.’
3. Tap on ‘Add account’ and follow the on-screen prompts to set up the second account.
4. Once configured, users can easily switch between accounts by tapping on the three dots and selecting ‘Account.’
