RedMagic 10 Pro Series China Launch Date Confirmed, Key Features Revealed
Galaxy AI S23 Series – Dropping Next Month
Samsung is set to introduce its Galaxy AI suite to a range of its devices, including the upcoming Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 family, beginning next month. This move underscores Samsung’s commitment to integrating AI capabilities into its flagship mobile products, extending beyond just its latest phone models.
The rollout of Galaxy AI is slated to commence with a software update scheduled for late March, as part of Samsung’s ambitious initiative to reach over 100 million Galaxy users with these features this year. T.M. Roh, president and head of Samsung’s mobile experience business, announced this development in a press release. While Samsung had previously announced its plans to introduce Galaxy AI to the Galaxy S23 lineup, the specific timing had not been disclosed until now.
Galaxy AI encompasses a range of innovative AI-powered functionalities that debuted with the Galaxy S24 series in January. Notable features include Generative Edit, enabling users to manipulate or reposition objects within photos; Chat Assist, facilitating text rewriting in various tones or language translations; Circle to Search, allowing users to initiate a Google search for any on-screen object by simply circling it; and Live Translate, a tool capable of real-time translation during phone calls.

Tech giants like Samsung and Google have been vocal about their endeavors to integrate generative AI into smartphones, leveraging machine learning algorithms to generate content or responses based on trained data. This aligns with the capabilities demonstrated by ChatGPT, and manufacturers are keen on incorporating similar functionalities into their own products.
While AI has long played a significant role in smartphone technology, the recent focus of companies like Samsung and Google, who collaborated on the development of Galaxy AI, has been on integrating generative AI into mobile devices. For Samsung, Galaxy AI represents the culmination of these efforts.
Furthermore, Samsung hinted at the potential expansion of its AI features to wearable devices in a recent blog post authored by Roh. He stated, “In the near future, select Galaxy wearables will utilize AI to enhance digital health and usher in a new era of enriched, intelligent health experiences.” This suggests that AI integration may soon extend beyond smartphones to Samsung’s wearable product range.
