Google Pixel 9, Pixel Watch 3 launching soon
The Google Pixel 9 series is set to launch on August 13th, and alongside it, the Pixel Watch 3 is anticipated to make its first appearance. Rumors suggest that the new Pixel Watch 3 will feature a larger display with smaller bezels. A recent leak has unveiled the color options and various band styles for the Pixel Watch 3.
The Google Pixel Watch 3 will retain the same band options as its predecessor, the Pixel Watch 2, with the addition of a new ‘Performance Loop Band’, which will be released later in October, as reported by Android Authority. The available band options for the Pixel Watch 3 include the Active Band, Active Sport Band, Woven Band, Stretch Band, Metal Mesh Band, Metal Links Band, Metal Slim Band, Two-tone Leather Band, Crafted Leather Band, and the Performance Loop Band.
For the Pixel Watch 3, Google is rumored to introduce two size options. The larger size will not support all the band styles, specifically missing out on the Stretch Band, Metal Mesh, Metal Slim, and Two-Tone Leather bands.
Each band style will be available in various colors, offering users a range of choices. The Active Band will match the color options of the Pixel 9 series. Below is a table listing the different band styles and their respective colors:

Additional details have surfaced regarding the larger Pixel Watch 3, which has been referred to as the Pixel Watch 3 XL, although Google is not expected to use this name. Instead, the larger variant will simply be called the Pixel Watch 3, with the size specified alongside the name, similar to naming conventions used by Samsung and Apple for their smartwatches. The Pixel Watch 3 is expected to be available in 41mm and 45mm sizes.
The Pixel Watch 3 is reported to offer a 24-hour battery life with the Always-On Display enabled, and up to 36 hours with Battery Saver mode activated. It is also expected to feature a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, an improvement over the 1,000 nits on the Pixel Watch 2. Additionally, the new Google smartwatches are rumored to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 platform and a custom co-processor.
