Nothing Ear & Ear(a) Launched

New earphones called Ear and Ear (a) were unveiled by Nothing at a big event in early 2024. They look a lot like the old Ear (2) ones, with see-through parts and a similar shape. But these new ones have special parts for sound and noise cancelling, and they’ll be available for purchase soon.

Prices and Where to Buy

The Ear ones cost ₹11,999 and the Ear (a) are priced at ₹7,999. You can buy them starting April 22nd at Flipkart, Croma, and Vijay Sales. If you buy them right away, they’ll be a bit cheaper, with the Ear at ₹10,999 and the Ear (a) at ₹5,999.

Colors

The Ear comes in black and white, and the Ear (a) comes in those colors plus a new yellow option.

What’s Inside?

The Ear has special parts for sound that make it better than the old Ear (2). It can connect to your phone with Bluetooth and play high-quality sound. It also blocks out noise with something called Active Noise Cancellation, or ANC, and can last longer between charges. The Ear (a) is like the Ear but smaller and has a few different features. It’s also good at blocking out noise and has a better battery life.

How Long Does the Battery Last?

The Ear can play music for 8.5 hours by itself, and with the case, it can last up to 40.5 hours. The Ear (a) can play music for 42.5 hours with the case.

Other Stuff

Both types of earphones can connect to two devices at once, so you can switch between them easily. They’re also good for making calls and have a special way to block out wind noise. They’re a bit waterproof too.
