But if you’re into that sleek, curvy look, the S24 Ultra is keeping its cool contoured edges.

Here’s the scoop – it seems Samsung is finally going for flat screens on all S24 models. The S24 Ultra might flaunt a massive 6.8-inch 1440p flat OLED display that’s crazy bright, hitting 2500 nits. That’s a big upgrade from the S23 Ultra, which already had an impressive 1750 nits screen. The S24+ is also getting a screen boost with a slightly bigger 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED screen that’s extra smooth with its 120Hz refresh rate.

To make things lighter and easier to carry around, the S24 Ultra might rock a titanium frame, shedding some grams compared to the S23 Ultra. But if you’re going for the S24 or S24+, they might stick with good ol’ aluminum to keep the costs down.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: Performance

These new phones in the US and around the world are rumored to run on the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip from Qualcomm. They did something similar with the S23 series, teaming up with Qualcomm for a custom chip. The S23 Ultra already had a crazy detailed 200MP main camera, and it looks like Samsung is tuning it up even more for the S24 Ultra. There’s talk about an HP2SX model that’s an upgrade from the HP2 sensor in the S23.

For the zoom lovers, inside sources say there might be a 10MP 3x optical telephoto and a 50MP 5x optical periscope lens, a change from the S23 Ultra’s single 10MP 10x optical zoom. We’ll have to wait and see if it’s an upgrade or not.
