RedMagic 10 Pro Series China Launch Date Confirmed, Key Features Revealed

Nubia has officially confirmed the launch date for the RedMagic 10 Pro series, which will succeed last year’s RedMagic 9 Pro and RedMagic 9 Pro+ models. In addition to the announcement, a tipster has revealed some key specifications for the upcoming smartphones. Here’s what to expect from the RedMagic 10 Pro series.

The RedMagic 10 Pro series will be officially launched on November 13 at 3 PM local time (12:30 PM IST) in Beijing. The event will be streamed live on Nubia’s official website and YouTube channel.

While details are still under wraps, reports suggest that Nubia might unveil three models: the RedMagic 10 Pro, RedMagic 10 Pro+, and possibly a RedMagic 10 Pro Ultra. These devices are expected to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, along with a proprietary gaming chip developed by Nubia for enhanced performance.

A tipster named Panda is Bald, on Weibo, has shared some intriguing details about the RedMagic 10 Pro+. According to the leak, the Pro+ model will feature an upgraded display resolution of 2688 x 1216 pixels, which would make it the highest resolution seen in a full-screen smartphone to date. In comparison, its predecessor, the RedMagic 9 Pro+, had a resolution of 1116 x 2480 pixels.

Additionally, the RedMagic 10 Pro+ is expected to support a 144Hz refresh rate, improving on the 120Hz refresh rate of the previous model. A major upgrade is also expected in the battery department, with the Pro+ model likely to be equipped with a massive 7,050mAh battery, far surpassing the 5,500mAh capacity in the earlier version.

The design of the RedMagic 10 Pro series will reportedly include an under-display camera, similar to previous models, eliminating the need for a punch-hole cutout. The new phones are expected to feature sleek, slim bezels, which will contribute to a high screen-to-body ratio. Some reports have noted that earlier smartphones with under-display cameras experienced a reduction in resolution in the area of the camera, but the RedMagic 10 Pro series aims to resolve this issue with improved technology.
